Eat & Drink Faster + Prefer Tables Mod
Why does it take a Sim two hours to eat a sandwich?!?! It drives me nuts!! This mod is an update of an abandoned mod which makes Sims eat and drink in half the time. As a bonus, it also causes them to prefer to sit down at tables or counters when eating.
Note: Because this mod causes Sims to seek out the nearest table to sit down and eat at, if you tell them to go watch TV while they eat they will sit down at a table first then get up and go watch TV. It doesn’t bother me too much but I thought I would mention it here.
NEW NOTE DEC 17, 2020: There are now TWO alternate flavors of this mod in the zip file. Now if you only want your Sims to prefer tables, there’s a mod for that. If you only want your Sims to eat faster, there’s a mod for that. Of course, the mod to do both is still there. So now you have multiple choices. 🙂 ONLY INSTALL ONE OF THE MOD PACKAGES NOT ALL!!!Â
The original version of this mod was created by bjnicol of Mod the Sims (found here) but has long been abandoned and appears to have stopped working with the latest game updates. My mod is similar and was created for the latest game version. I’ve tested both aspects of it (both the eating/drinking speed and the preferring to sit at tables) and they both work quite well. Most of the time!
