SE2 Day 5 Workin It
It’s now time for Day 5 of my Sims 4 Agoraphobia Experiment! The story now continues with both Mia and Jace as they start a new life living and working together.

Maybe it’s time for Mia to try to hold a 9 to 5 job as well? Let’s try it! Thanks to her aforementioned university degree she’ll get a head start in the Tech Guru career with a larger wage and a nice signing bonus! She’ll start her job the day after Jace starts his. (I should probably mention here that I now have Zerbu’s Turbo Careers Mod. This will allow Mia and Jace to actually “go to work” for their respective jobs. I don’t know yet if they can both go to work at the same time yet or not but I plan to find out.)
While Jace is at his first day of work, Mia works on upgrading a few kitchen appliances and other things around the apartment. Later she looks around the neighborhood and is able to add a new snow globe to her collection. Her current collection can be seen at right. I’m not sure how many more of these she has to collect but she’s got quite a few so far. I love these little things!
The next day, it was Mia’s turn for her first day of work. It was interesting and went well but Jace had the day off so I still don’t know if they can both work at the same time yet or not. Mia was of course stressed out by being away from home and surrounded by strangers but she still managed to put in a full day’s work. Somehow.
Also, why this day, the first day of her 9 to 5 job, that the GeekCon finally happens?! Of course I had already sent her to work right before the notification for the event popped up so she missed it. Dammit! She would have loved GeekCon! Too bad. She’ll just have to try and go next time.
After work, Mia happily returns home and relaxes. She decides to buy a karaoke machine to increase her singing skill. This is due to the fact that she needs to reach level 3 singing skill for her City Native aspiration. Her singing is… well… she’s very… enthusiastic. I think my speaker just cracked.
The two are then able to “be thankful” to each other and decorate their penthouse for fall in order to satisfy all four of the holiday’s traditions for an awesome Harvestfest.
I just noticed on the calendar that in a few days it will be Mia’s birthday and then a couple days later it will be Jace’s birthday. They will both be aging up from Young Adults to Adults.
Later, Mia got back to programming and created a video game which completed the final goal of her Computer Whiz aspiration, finally! That’s the first aspiration that she has completed in it’s entirety.
Destiny then came over and… why is she always primping in the mirror when she’s over here? I swear, she does this every time she comes over to visit! You look fine, girl, stop obsessing!
The following day is the “Night on the Town” event so it looks like Mia and Jace will be going on a date later tonight. First, Mia plays some Density Effect while Jace goes to work. She completed and “won” the game which earned her the buff “Commander’s Shepard”. I thought that was so cool that I just had to mention it and show it here. I love playing Mass Density Effect!
That night, the two go to Chez Llama for a free dinner. It went great although their outfits kind of clashed as you can clearly see here. Mia ordered dinner for them both and then the server just stood there after taking their order instead of delivering their order to the chef. Weird. How long will she stand there?
The server is still standing there nearly half an hour later for what reason we may never know. Here we see Mia and Jace discussing how to kill the server and hide the body so that they are never caught. I’m kidding, I have no idea what they are discussing but I do know I watched too much Investigation Discovery with my mom earlier tonight.
That’s all for Day 5 of my Agoraphobia Experiment! Today was not the most exciting of days but tomorrow promises to be a great one. I won’t spoil what happens but I promise you’ll want to see it so please don’t miss it. Tune in tomorrow to find out what the hell I’m talking about!
