First off, yesterday was Patch Day! That’s right, the latest Sims 4 patch was released yesterday for PC and is available now on Origin. It’s said to include several bug fixes but also loads of new content in celebration of the Sims 4’s 5th anniversary. Personally, I am waiting a bit to update until all of my favorite mods are checked out and updated as needed. I’ll also be checking to see if any of the mods I’ve created need to be updated once I download the patch. So what’s your favorite part of the new patch? Is it the configurable stairs? I bet it’s the configurable stairs.
Speaking of new stuff, the newest Game Pack (Realm of Magic) is due out in just four and a half days! (It’s expected to land on September 10 at 11:30 CST.) I’ll be getting it as soon as I can as what’s been released about it all looks so awesome! Will you be getting the new pack? There’s rumors that another Expansion Pack will be out later this year but nothing has been confirmed yet so it’s all just speculation at this point. Still, I’ll be saving my pennies just in case another pack does get released this year so I can get it too… if it looks good that is. Oh, who am I kidding? I’m a Sims addict so of course I’ll buy whatever Maxis throws my way!
Now for the Simularity news! As you may have noticed, I finished my Sims 4 Bipolar Experiment the other day. You can now see all the posts from all 15 days of the experiment on the Stories page. I’ll be starting a new story next week after I get the Realm of Magic pack that will mostly be for fun and to explore the new pack. After that, I should have my Agoraphobia trait finished and will start another Sims 4 Experiment then.
As I mentioned before, I am working on a custom Agoraphobia trait for the Sims 4 based on my own experiences with the disorder. I’ve got five or six features programmed, tested, and functioning so far. I’m now working on adding a couple or so more features and then I’ll need to test those out. I hope to have the trait ready for beta testing in the next week or so. I’m having fun figuring this trait stuff out. If you have any suggestions about new traits I could create, feel free to contact me or leave a comment on this post.
Have you been following the Finds page? I’ll be posting another post of cc and/or mod finds here in a few hours but there are already three posts on the page for you to view at your leisure. If you’ve got a suggestion for my Finds feature, please leave a comment on this post or contact me and I’ll check it out.
That’s all for now as I need to get back to work testing my Agoraphobia trait mod and figure out the last few bits of its intricacies. I hope to be able to share it with you soon along with loads more content. Thank you for viewing!
