Simularity Update 018
Today’s update includes not only news but some previews as well! I am working on several new projects for you all and I can hardly wait to share them with you. Part of me wants to release everything now and another part wants to space things out so I have things to release when I’m not feeling as productive. We shall see which part wins out over the next several days. (I’m currently in a mixed episode. I’m being ultra productive but feeling terrible. It’s weird.) For now, onto the news!
I’ve been experimenting with creating more and more Custom Content. You may have seen my artworks which I converted to Sims objects in my D9S Art for Sims Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, and Part 4. I shared the entire set of artworks over at Mod the Sims so they could get even more exposure. I’ll see about turning more of my artworks into Sims objects soon as I have several more that I haven’t converted yet. I need to get back to creating new artworks but I’m stuck in Sims-mode right now.
I just finished three brand new sets of abstract rug objects that I’ll be sharing here and maybe over at MtS soon. I’ll post some previews of the rugs below. These were fun to create so I will probably create more of them soon. I also made a few attempts at clothing recolors but those attempts have so far failed. I’ll keep trying though. Maybe I read an outdated tutorial or read said tutorial incorrectly?? It might be time to ask for help. It’s just difficult for me. You know, that whole agoraphobia thing.
As for Mods, I have four brand new traits in the works for you! I’m testing them out right now. I’ve nearly finished testing two of them and will be adding them to Simularity for download soon. The other two traits require much more testing. I’m also working on a fix mod but I haven’t been able to recreate the right conditions to test it yet and I’m willing to bet EA fixes it themselves with the patch they will put out before Nifty Knitting. If they don’t, I’ll release my fix mod… assuming I’m able to properly test it by then. Oh, I’m also working on a couple new aspirations and a lot trait but, again, they require more testing before they are ready for release. I wish I had some tester helpers! Would you like to help me out by testing mods for me?? Contact me!!
Speaking of mods, I updated the Essential Mods post over in the Finds section. Speaking of finds, I found a few new sites on Tumblr the other day! I’ll be writing up posts for them and sharing them with you soon. Of course, I still take suggestions on new sites so if you have a link to share, send it my way please!
My Sims 4 Agoraphobia Experiment is progressing nicely in the Stories section. I released Day 6 today and have Day 7 ready and scheduled for release tomorrow morning. I’m starting to get a little bored with it though so it will probably only go to Day 10. I’m not certain yet though. Once we actually get to Day 10, I’ll know. By the way, do you think Mia and Jace should get married or just stay live-in friends? Leave a comment with your opinion and help me decide on what to do in the story because I honestly don’t know and can’t decide on my own!
So, are you excited about the new Stuff Pack coming out next week, Nifty Knitting? It happens to come out the day before my Aayla’s birthday (July 29 is her birthday, she’ll be 11 years old) so that will be my excuse for buying it… yes, I’m buying a Sims 4 addon for my dog because she loves to watch me play the game so… yeah… that works. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. 😀
