Simularity Update 036
First off, MOD UPDATES! I updated the Graveyard Lot Trait to include several new buffs for a variety of different traits. Now Sims with the following traits will have their own buffs: Evil, Squeamish, Gloomy, and Vampire. I also added a weekly midnight visit from the Grim Reaper! I think next I’ll add unique buffs for Aliens and Spellcasters… I just have to think of what to write for them! As always, if you have ideas on how this or any of my mods can be improved, please let me know. I’m happy to listen!
Next up, NEW MODS! Today I released two new mods. The first is a Tuning Mod that allows you to do programming tasks on a computer faster than ever before. It’s called, aptly, Faster Programming. The other new mod is a set of brand new Holiday Traditions inspired by various activities featured in the Island Living Expansion Pack (and therefore requires it as well as the Seasons Expansion Pack) and is appropriately named Island Living Holiday Traditions.
And now, FUTURE MODS! I’ve finished another set of holiday traditions which I’m about to test out and make sure they work as intended. I’m calling this set “Night Out Traditions”. I also want to make a new pack of Spa Day Traditions as the one I got from MTS was causing tuning errors in my game. I also have my first two custom events in the works! I’m testing them out right now and it’s a little hit or miss with mostly hits and a few critical misses. I’ll get them working as intended soon and be able to share with you all, promise! I’m brainstorming my first few careers now as well. Those things are so complex that I want to write them out on paper and get my thoughts straight before I start the actual programming. I did that when I first started out with traits too. I have a few really old tuning mods which have been abandoned and I’ve updated for my own game. I’ll see about sharing them with you all here on my site soon. If there’s an ancient, abandoned mod that you love and would like to see updated, tell me about it and I’ll see if it’s within the realm of what I can do.
That’s all for now as I have more work and testing to do. Until next time, take care and have fun!
