Simularity Update 040
I have a few new things for you today with several more on the way. More on that in a moment or skip down to that headline. I also did some “housecleaning” on the site to tidy things up a bit that you may or may not have noticed. I consolidated my five Floril Tattoos into one set and my seven tattoos of Hailee’s Tat Set into one complete set so the Tattoos section is no longer quite so cluttered. Also no longer will anyone have to download so many individual zip files if they want all of the tattoos. I also did some behind the scenes cleaning that moved just about all of my custom content files to new server folders. I did that for various reasons including my own ease of finding things. I didn’t have too many files when I started but now… I needed a new way of sorting everything. You don’t need to re-download everything, most everything is the same files they are just in a new location now.
New Mods
Today I posted my new Small Mods Collection page where I have posted and will post all of my little mods that are too small for their own pages. These mods are all tuning mods that are small tweaks and fixes for the game and its various DLC packs. There’s some helpful mods on there already like the one that finally gets your Sims and NPC Sims to finish their food when dining out and another to stop their reactions to thermostats.
New CC
I also posted today my first new custom content in quite a while; Lifelike Eyes 2. These are a follow-up to my original set of Lifelike Eyes which are among my favorite creations and are quite popular. This new set includes nine new realistic colors/styles of irises. Oh, and I updated the original Lifelike Eyes to update the thumbnail images of the contacts version. Now they better show what you’re selecting. You’ll see what I mean when you download and install the update, if you do.

I am almost finished testing out my first Career; I just need to complete one promotion in my test game and then I’ll be done. I can hardly wait to share this career with you all! I’ve been working so hard on it, trying to make it the best I possibly can. When I get done with this one and post it, I have two more started that I need to finish and test.Â
I also have a new Lot Trait almost ready for publishing and I’m working on a new Event. The event has been giving me problems though. I bet I’ll be able to figure out the problems once I finish this career I’m working on and can dedicate more brainpower to the event. Both the lot trait and the event are something I want to get out before Valentine’s Day if that gives you a hint about what they might be. I also have, in the same theme, a set of Traditions and another Tuning Mod or two.
Coming Soon: CC
I have several new custom content ideas and I plan on working on both CC and mods to keep myself from getting burnt out by working on one thing and one thing only. (Variety keeps me interested and focused!) I’m currently working on a new set of skin details that I haven’t seen before (they probably exist out there somewhere but I haven’t seen them myself). After that I’ll work on some clothing recolors. I want to create more wedding gowns for the beautiful meshes by Sifix of TSR like my Bridal Gowns Set 1. I’d also like to create another set of vintage t-shirts because I both love creating and using those in my game. Some other, new types of clothing recolors could be on the horizon as well. I’ve got other CC ideas on my to-do list but I don’t to spoil the surprises just yet. 😉

I’m not the greatest builder of any kind of lot type but I really do enjoy making tiny houses and I’m pretty good at creating functional tiny houses that come in under the requirements for first and second tier tiny homes for all or most of the perks. Do you think I should share my tiny homes here? I also have a few custom made Sims that I rather like and have received compliments for. Should I start sharing them here as well? What do you think?
