Simularity Update 045
First off, I want to thank all of my supporters! All of you who have become patrons, who have made donations, who have sent in translations for my mods, who have left kind comments about my work, and just generally let me know that I and my work is appreciated in the Sims community. It truly means the world to me and I’m tearing up just thinking about how grateful I am for all of you!
Okay now, on to the updates and new stuff before I get too emotional. :’)
Mod Updates
The Merfolk Cove lot trait has been updated to accept two new venue types! Previously you could only use it on beaches but now you can use it on Island Bluff lots (I think that’s the special lot in Windenburg) and any public pool. I edited the wording of the lot’s buffs so that the new venue types make sense. I tested the new edits and the merfolk still show up to swim in the pools in their merfolk form. These edits were at the suggestion of one of my patrons, Jasmine.
I found that a promotion objective was broken in my Adventurer Career. It’s now fixed so please download the fixed version. Sorry for the trouble!
Also, about 15 or so mods have been updated with new Italian translations thanks to the awesome work of Francesca. For a full list of the mods that have been updated with Italian translations, please see the Mod Updates page. If you would like to submit a translation of any of my mods in your language, please contact me. Thanks!
New Mods
I just uploaded the new Archaeology Career! This is a much more realism-based career as opposed to my Adventurer Career. I implore you to read the career level descriptions. My best friend, Sage Nabooru (an actual long-time student and acolyte of Archaeology), wrote most of the descriptions and they are not to be missed since they are what give the career its stark realism. This career doesn’t require nearly as many trips to Selvadorada as the Adventurer Career but does still require the Jungle Adventure Game Pack.
New Custom Content
I have got to say, I’m rather proud of how this set turned out and that’s tough for me to say. (I’m usually my own harshest critic.) I present to you my new Medieval Gowns! You’ll need the Melora Dress by Sifix to use my Medieval Gowns in your game as that is the mesh they are based on. (Link to mesh is on the Medieval Gowns page for your convenience.) There are six gowns in this set and each one is made of its own unique fabrics and threads with a jewel accent on the belt. I really went all out on this one. The velvet even has a subtle velvety shine to it. I hope you all like this set!
Coming Soon
I’m currently working on a new Trait and some new Tuning Mod requests plus a new Career though that may take a while because I’m going all out for it like I did for the Adventurer Career with branches and University compatibility. Oh, I almost have a new part-time career finished though.
I also have some new Custom Content in the works. I’m creating some new makeup that will be slider compatible (I hope) along with finishing my eyebrow sets and a few other little things. I’m currently freezing in here so I’m in the mood to make some cold weather clothing like coats and gloves, so you can probably expect that stuff soon too.
That’s all for now. Take care out there!
