Simularity Update 065
I forgot to tell you in my last update that I started a Facebook page for those who want to follow my Simularity updates via Facebook. You can like the new page via this link. So please, give it a Like or a Follow or both and make this little Simmer happy.
Another thing I forgot to tell you in my last update is that I published my first Monthly CC Spotlight feature! For the month of June 2021, I am spotlighting the amazing CC by Peacemaker! I hope you enjoy this new site feature and find it useful. I’ll be spotlighting talented CC makers and their websites where they share their creations in this new feature once a month. Who will be next? Tune in next month and find out! I’ll try to get next month’s feature out before Cottage Living comes out because I’m sure we’ll all be too busy afterwards to care about anything else. LOL
New Mods!
I have two, count them, TWO new mods for you today with more on the way! The first is a brand new Aspiration of which I’ve been hinting at for a while. The new aspiration is the Mad Scientist Aspiration. (Of course, in the game it’s called “Mad, Mad I Tell You, Scientist!” because of my silly sense of humor.) You will need a very mischievous and perhaps even a bit evil of a Sim to play through this aspiration. It’s fun!
I also have a new Tuning Mod for you that was inspired by a talented modder whom unfortunately left the community. The new mod is Invite Any Toddlers to Play Dates. This mod, as the name implies, lets you invite any toddlers in the neighborhood to Play Date events and not just the ones your Sim is familiar with. It’s a fantastic way for your toddler Sims to finally meet other Sims their own age! Let’s face it, without this mod, the Play Date event from the Toddler Stuff Pack was rather useless since most adult Sims don’t go around introducing themselves to random toddlers unless they’re weirdos.
Mod Updates
I’ve got a lot of mod updates for you today! All of my Traits, and I do mean ALL of them, have been updated with brand new Chinese translations provided by pipiyalo. My thanks to pipiyalo for your generous contribution so that more people can enjoy these traits that I put so much work into! Also, the Clinical Depression Trait specifically was also updated with an Italian translation by Stefano who also fixed a punctuation error for me in all languages. Thank you again, Stefano!
More mod updates coming soon. I’m working on adding social interactions to my Bipolar Trait that will help with calming down some of the random moods swings (not the episodes of depression and mania but things like the anger flashes). If I’m successful, I’ll see about updating other traits that might benefit from such social interactions.
Coming Soon
I have five more mods finished and waiting in the wings to be released. (I like to stagger my releases so I have something new to share even when things aren’t going well.) I just, as of last night, wrote down ideas for four more mods. I’m doing my best to stay busy, busy. (My dad, whom I have always been very close to, is getting worse so being in the real world is not a place I want to be. Much rather lose myself in the Sims.)
While playing the game, I noticed there have been more errors with the HQ Mod lately and finally figured out why. That last patch update added new eyebrow colors which haven’t been converted to HQ yet and those are corrupting my Sims! I’m going to get to work and convert those extra swatches as soon as I have a free moment and then put them in the CC Fixes section for you all to download. I’ll keep you posted. There are also a few other bits and pieces that never were converted that keep bugging my game that I need to fix. I also wonder why no one has figured out sun tanning?
I would like to create some new Custom Content as I haven’t done that in a while. I have some ideas of what I’d like to do, just got to find the time to do it. Maybe I’ll do that a little later today once my eyes get tired of coding mods.
