Simularity Update 079
First off, NEW MODS! I have finished a brand new trait that I’ve been playing with the past week and I’m quite happy with it. It’s called the Farmer Trait and it was inspired by my love for, but does not require, Cottage Living. It’s actually a Base Game trait but you’ll get extra features if you have the Cottage Living EP and Outdoor Retreat GP. My Patreon patrons got the beta version of this trait a week or so early and they will continue to get sneak peaks of upcoming goodies in case you’d like to join them. 🙂
I have also created a small tuning mod that fixes a little oversight that EA made when coding in something from the Spa Day GP to the Cottage Living EP’s newer “simple” cooking ingredients feature. In Spa Day, if you get the Wellness Skill Level 2, you can cook a Sugar-Free Carob Coconut Cake. Trouble is, the recipe from EA includes sugar and no coconut! So, I fixed that with my Fix Sugar-Free Carob Coconut Cake Mod. I couldn’t remember though if coconut was exclusive to Island Living EP so I made two flavors of this mod. The second flavor uses Might Plant Milk from Cottage Living instead of coconuts, just in case.
Thanks to some wonderfully generous fans, I also have some new mod translations for you! The French translation for my Bipolar Trait has been updated and re-added to the trait mod thanks to Kimikosoma. There is also a brand new Spanish translation for my Knitting Custom Preference mod thanks to Sargantilla who has offered to translate more of my mods into Spanish in the near future.
Oh, and I have a mod update for you! I updated my Wedding Venue Lot Trait to fix the types of venues that you can use the lot trait on. I always meant for the lot trait to be used on all kinds of parks and generic lots but just recently found out I messed up the code for two of those venue types. The lot trait is now fixed!
I have more mods currently in the works which will, hopefully, be ready soon. What you may ask? I have a new event that I’m currently working on but it’s being very stubborn. Every time I test it after fixing something, something else breaks! I’ll get it working right eventually, I hope. I can’t wait to share it with you… once it works right. LOL I’m also working on another new trait that’s quite special but I need to do a lot more testing on it which should be able to begin now that I’m finished with the Farmer Trait. I also have two new preference mods in the works and another lot trait that’s quite complex and is therefore giving me headaches. I also have a few requests to work on as well. While testing some other things, I realized that my Midtown Theater Lot has a negative buff due to lack of enough decoration in the actual theater rooms. Whoops! I’ll fix and update that lot as soon as I am able to. I’m sorry I didn’t notice that sooner.
That’s all I’ve got for you today. Anyone else excited for, getting that new plant-centric Blooming Rooms Kit that’s coming out in two days? I’ll probably get it since I always get the build/buy kits but never the CAS kits. I prefer custom content CAS items. 🙂
