Simularity Update 098
So much to get through today that I don’t know where to begin! I have a couple new mods for you and major updates to previous mods. More new mods are coming soon as I am almost finished testing them. Read on to find out more!
New Mods
Ever since I got the High School Years EP I have been annoyed by the notification sounds for the Football and Cheerleading Sport Day events. It’s even worse when I don’t have a teen in my current household so there was absolutely no point to that damn noise. No need to be annoyed any longer, I have created a new mod called Stop Notification Noises for High School Events Mod. This mod will forever SILENCE those event notification noises for good!
Next up is an older mod that I forgot to re-add to this website when I created the new version of it. It is called Sugar-Free Carob Cake Fix and what it does is fix the ingredients of the Sugar-Free Carob Cake so that it no longer erroneously requires sugar. Now you can choose one of two flavors of this mod (install only one at a time!). V1 of the mod makes the cake require coconut and flour while V2 of the mod requires plant-milk and flour.
Mod Updates
First off, the Improved Visitor Notifications Mod has been updated so that it works again with all the latest patches and such. I’m sorry for not catching it and updating it sooner!
The Bipolar Trait has been updated to fix a small tuning error and to add an updated French translation by Kimikosoma.
I completely rewrote the Dementia Trait from scratch. I also created a new reward trait version so that you can add it to your aged-up Elders without going into CAS and changing one of their other traits with cheats. Also now includes custom wants and a new custom fear.
Finally, I added some new features to the Paranormal Trait that were suggested by a fan. The new features are: easier time making friends with ghosts, confident buff after woohooing with ghosts, easier time calming specters when attempting communication. I also blocked Paranormal Sims from ever getting the “Fear of Ghosts” since they love ghosts. I hope to add new wants as well in the near future.
