Simularity Update 118
I have some really cool stuff for you today plus some very important updates/fixes. I still haven’t managed to finish the new version of the Rock Star Career, so I took its page down. If you have that mod in your game, I highly suggest you remove it for now. I’ll hopefully have a new and improved version out sometime in August.
New Mods
I got a request not long ago to make a mod that would make it fun to drink coffee and make Sims happy while drinking coffee. I decided to take that a step further and make a brand-new custom preference just for coffee! Now your Sims can either enjoy coffee or despise it! Check out the new Coffee Custom Preference mod!!
Mod Updates
I found out from a report in my Discord server that my Fabrication Custom Preference was causing a terrible error if added in CAS. I have now fixed the issue and it works fine again whether you add it in CAS or during gameplay.
I also updated my Increased Energy from Drinks mod as I realized several drinks’ energy levels were way too high and overpowered. So, I went through every drink and slightly lowered their energy values. Should be a bit better for realistic gameplay now.
As per another request, I added new features to the Genius Trait by Maxis as part of my Improved Maxis Traits mod. Now there are extra career benefits for Engineers, learning the Robotics and Research & Debate skills will be faster and fun.
New Mod Translations
Thanks to the wonderful WitchyLilyFlower, there are three new Finnish mod translations! They have been added to the Improved Visitor Notifications, Starlight Accolades Event Notification, and Emotions Overhaul mods.
Thanks to the fantastic Nenusia there are now over a dozen new and updated Polish mod translations! They have been added to: Mad Scientist Aspiration, Wedding Spot Lot Trait, University Life Aspiration, Ultimate Adventurer Aspiration, UFO Hot Spot Lot Challenge, Easy Does It Horse Trait, Scientist Extraordinaire Aspiration, Modern Art Gallery Lot Trait, Merfolk Cove Lot Trait, Crafter’s Corner Lot Trait, Archaeologist Career, Alien Zone Lot Trait, and Archaeology Custom Preference.
