Simularity Update 123
I’ve been a very, very busy little bee lately! Today I have several mod updates including some career overhauls, new additions to mod collections, and more! I also have a new event mod for you with many more new and updated mods on the way.
New Mods & Updates
First off, that new event I mentioned! The new mod is called the Beach Party Event and it requires Island Living EP since that’s the pack that has the ocean and beaches. It’s a fun little event that I enjoyed testing out.
I completely overhauled and updated two of my older career mods as the old versions had some issues. The newly recreated careers are Public Welfare Career and Plopsy Seller Part-Time Career. Due to the fact that they were recreated, their strings files changed and therefore will require all new translations. My apologies to those who have translated these mods before, but I did change quite a bit of text in them.
For the Don’t Do That Mods collection, I updated the Don’t Do Mischief Socials to work for the latest patches. I also updated the Don’t Uproot Plants with exceptions so you can now uproot trash plants and invasive species plants in addition to just the dead plants. I also added a brand-new mod that stops the notification to visit Batuu once and for all when you start a new game and have the Journey to Batuu GP. That was driving me crazy!!
I updated the Improved Maxis Traits with two newly improved traits! The new traits are the Geek Trait (added new features and benefits) and the Foodie Trait (added new benefits, features, and wants).
For the Increased Energy from Drinks mod, I added a new optional file called Sleepy Drinks. This mod makes it so that drinks like milk and chamomile tea will decrease a Sim’s energy and make them sleepier. It’s the opposite of the Increased Energy drinks but they still seem like they should be together.
Finally, I updated the Spellcaster Covenstead Lot Trait to remove the “Spellcasters Gather” situation from the “Plan an Event” menu because it never should have been there! I’m sorry I didn’t notice this error earlier.
I am currently working on a brand-new trait that’s a little different from my other traits but is proving to be a very interesting one with lots of potential story-telling opportunities. I am also working on a brand-new 2.0 version of my Graveyard Lot Trait with new features and LOTS of new buffs. Oh, and I have a new aspiration in the works! There’s also some trait updates coming up in my next update. Other than that, who knows what will be next!
