New Mods
I have a brand-new career mod for you today that I’ve been working on for months! The new career is the Comedian Career which requires the Get Famous Expansion Pack. It has unique promotion requirements for each career level, three chance cards with more to come, and more. It’s a fun one and works fantastic with my newly overhauled Comedian Trait (not required).
Also new today, is the Better Temperature Reactions mod. This mod came about from a conversation on my Discord server, and I was thankfully able to fulfil their requests. This mod lets you know much sooner when your Sim is getting too hot or too cold before it becomes life-threatening by triggering the reaction animations sooner and notifying you via popups.
Mod Updates
As I mentioned earlier, I completely overhauled and improved my Comedian Trait with new buffs, icons, perks, wants, and more. I updated the Happy Go Lucky Dog Trait and Zen Cat Trait with a few new features and such including that pets with these traits will no longer develop Fear Quirks. Due to this update, these traits are not compatible with the LMS Anti-Fear Training mod. I created a new icon for the “ew, stinky pet” buff in the Clearly Stinky Pets mod.
New Translations
To the Homemaker Trait has been added Spanish by Xavier and German by SimmieMaus.To the Ultimate Homemaker Aspiration has been added translations of Spanish by Xavier, German by SimmieMaus, and Polish by Nenusia. Finally, to the Mad Scientist Aspiration has been added a Polish translation by Nenusia. More translations are coming soon! If you would like to contribute any translations, please see the #translators channel of my Discord server where I have pinned a new document listing all of my mods in need of translations.
Coming Soon
I am currently working on updating (not overhauling) the Bipolar Trait to adjust various emotion strength values, adding more wants, and a few other improvements. I still need to test all of these improvements but hopefully it will be ready in time for my next update sometime next week. I have almost finished testing the newly overhauled Farmer Trait so it should be ready by the next update too. I am also in the process of overhauling the Agoraphobia Trait to improve it and make it easier to update in the future. Oh, by request, I am working on an update to my Plopsy Seller PT Career to add more craft types to the “Work From Home” tasks so the job will soon include much more than just knitting. I’m also working on creating a brand-new career and more. Stay tuned!
