Dementia Trait
This trait was difficult to create and even more difficult to test. I based it on what’s happening to my beloved dad who has developed dementia which was then exacerbated after coming down with meningitis. You can either apply this trait to Elder Sims only when creating them in CAS or add it to other Sims later in their lives using the Reward Traits panel (I created this both as a regular trait and a reward trait for just this purpose).
Features:
- For Elders Only
- Needs more sleep than other Sims as they get tired sooner and regain energy slower
- Sim autonomously choses to sleep and nap more often
- Is worse at all skills
- Learns new skills very slowly
- Work performance suffers
- Has a much more difficult time building and maintaining relationships
- Available as both a regular personality trait and as a reward trait
- Can develop a Fear of Losing My Mind
- Custom Wants/Whims
