This is a simple and functional movie theater to use with my Movie Theater Lot Trait that Sims can visit and have fun at. It includes two large screens, popcorn makers and vending machines, authentic theater seating, public unisex restroom, and an extra room for you to put whatever your heart desires. The authentic theater seating and vending machines are custom content but that’s the only custom content in this build.
Just place the building on any 30×40 or larger lot in any world. I mainly built the lot for the intended spot of “Midtown Meadows” in Newcrest. The movie theater is classified as a “generic venue”. Although it is set as a generic venue, you will need to make sure you select to set the venue type to “Generic” when placing the lot and double-check the venue type after placing the lot. There’s a game bug that may reset it to “Residential”, so you’ll need to make sure it’s Generic before sending your Sims there.
