Rock Star Career (Refresh)
One of my most popular careers has now had an extensive refresh; the Rock Star Career. The infamous chance cards now have brand-new results to your choices which are less severe and more varied. PLUS, there is now a “Skip This” option on every card if you want to avoid it completely. All levels of the career have been rewritten with different promotional requirements, salary, hours, and more. I have created new career reward objects for the top three levels. There are now new social, computer, and phone interactions which unlock depending on your career level and all have their own benefits and results. It felt like it took forever to test this one out, which is a great thing, and it was fun to do, which is an even better thing. I hope you enjoy this refreshed mod!
Features:
- Two Unique Career Branches (Solo Artist and Band Member) with Six Career Levels Each
- The new Chance Cards have all been rewritten with less severe results (no more career loss!)
- The Chance Cards also now have a “Skip This” third option to bypass the card and its results all together
- New reward objects for the top three levels of each branch
- New social interactions with unique result buffs that unlock as you progress in the career
- New phone interactions, such as Go to Press Conference, with their own unique results also unlock as you progress in the career
- AND new computer interactions with their own results also unlock as you progress in the career
- All career levels have been rewritten with new promotion goals, salaries, hours, and more
- You can Hire an Agent once you get to one of the two branches and then you can call once a day “Negotiate with Agent” to see if they’ve gotten any deals for you! There are a ton of results for the call, and each has different benefits
- Practicing with your guitar or practicing singing will gain career performance points!
- To make the career levels work, I have included files to lower the required Guitar Skill Level for Writing Songs to Skill Level 6 instead of 8. It also speeds up the amount of time needed to write songs. You don’t need the guitar portion of my “Faster Song Writing” mod if you play this career.
- You can also license songs and lyrics once every four days instead of once a week.
- There may be even more features that I have forgotten about to list here. It’s that big of a mod!
