Graveyard Lot Trait

This lot trait will turn any generic non-residential lot into a proper graveyard that’s perfect for all of your deceased Sims to move to as their final resting place… if they wish to rest that is! During the day, the graveyard will be populated with mourners paying their respects to lost loved ones. At night, the graveyard will be haunted by those who have been lost. The lot trait may include a few more surprises as well. Sims with different traits and different occult types will all react differently while on lots with this trait and depending on what is happening on the lot plus time of day/night.

How to Use In-Game:

In Build Mode, select to edit the lot’s Lot Traits. This lot trait is only available for Generic venues.

NOTE: For the mourners and other Sims to mourn autonomously, they must have something to mourn! Blank tombstones and urns from debug won’t work (I tried). You need actual dead Sims for them to mourn. Once a Sim dies, put the tombstone/urn on the graveyard lot so that the mourners and others will start doing their thing. A mod that is very helpful for this purpose (it will relocate all dead Sims’ urns/tombstones to your Sim’s personal inventory so you can place them in a cemetery), is the Summon All Urns Mod.

How to Install:

Copy the package file into your “Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods” folder. That’s it! You may also want to make sure that mods are enabled in your Game Options menu.
