Maxis traits are great but that doesn’t mean there isn’t room for improvement! With this collection of mods, I will take a few Maxis-made traits and add additional features to them. More are coming soon!

Genius Trait

The improvements to the Genius Trait include making Sims with this trait gain the following skills faster: Logic, Programming, Rocket Science, Archaeology, Robotics, Research and Debate. It also increases career benefits for the following careers: Astronaut, Tech Guru, Scientist, Engineer, Doctor. It also makes performing any of the previously listed skills increase the fun motive.

BASE GAME

Base game is all that is required for this trait to work.
Adventurous Trait

Makes it so that it will take longer for Adventurous Sims to get bored learning skills they already know. Slows degradation of their Climbing Gear. Creates new Wants. Increases fun motive for using Archaeology skill.

SNOWY ESCAPE

This expansion pack is the main requirement for this trait mod.
Bookworm Trait

Added new Wants. Makes reading books and books on the tablet be Fun.

BASE GAME

The only pack required for this trait mod to work.
Foodie Trait

Makes it so that Sims with the Foodie Trait will have fun while using the following skills: Baking, Nectar Making, Mixology. Also increases the speed at which all of those skills and cooking skills can be learned. Adds new Wants.

Base Game is all that is required for this trait mod.
Geek Trait

Adds new Wants. Increases fun motive while using the following skills: Robotics, Programming, Rocket Science. It also increases the speed by which the previously mentioned skills are learned.

Loves Outdoors

Adds new Wants. Increases fun motive while using the following skills: Gardening, Herbalism, and Fishing.

Base Game is all that is required for this trait mod.
Rancher

Slows down the counter for needing to do ranch chores so your Sim won’t get the negative buff for not doing enough chores so quickly. Increases the number of interactions that count towards ranch work. Makes gaining relationships with animals happen faster. Also makes learning Nectar Making and training horses happen faster.

HORSE RANCH

This expansion pack is all that is required for this trait mod to work.

How to Use In-Game:

While creating your Sim in CAS, select one of the following Maxis-made traits and the improvements will be automatically applied: Genius, Loves Outdoors, Geek, Foodie, Adventurous, Rancher, and Bookworm.

How to Install:

Copy the package file into your “Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods” folder. That’s it! You may also want to make sure that mods are enabled in your Game Options menu.

This expansion is required for the Adventurous Trait.

HORSE RANCH

This expansion pack is required for the Rancher Trait.
