Tech Savvy Trait
This is another trait that is partially inspired by my own life experience but goes even further. (This trait replaces the old Techie Trait from pre-2026.) Tech Savvy Sims are fast learners of the skills they value most (programming, video gaming, rocket science, robotics, and more) and have more fun doing activities related to those skills than any other Sims who may find those same activities to be tedious.
Features:
- Many new, unique icons including the main trait icon
- LOTS of buffs for everything from doing activities, interacting with other Sims, and more.
- Six new social interactions with corresponding buffs and gameplay effects.
- Three new phone interactions with corresponding random buffs and gameplay effects.
- Four new computer interactions with corresponding random buffs and gameplay effects.
- Three new tablet interactions with corresponding random buffs and gameplay effects.
- Doing various Programming Tasks and other tech-related activities are now fun instead of tedious.
- Increased performance gain multipliers for the following careers: Astronaut, Tech Guru, Freelance Programmer, Scientist, Social Media, and Engineer.
- Increased skill gain multipliers for the following skills: Programming, Robotics, Rocket Science, Logic, and Video Gaming.
- This and all my traits will soon be more integrated with each other for a better overall experience (for instance, Sims with this Tech Savvy Trait do not always get along too well with Sims who have my Artist Trait).
- Tech Savvy Sims who do not use tech gadgets for an extended period of time will become bored and have a need to use tech gadgets and do tech-related activities.
- Several new Wants are included.

February 09, 2026 – A totally new and vastly improved trait to replace my old and obsolete Techie Trait. (Make sure you delete that old trait from your Mods folder!) See above for a list of all of the new features.
