Don’t Do That Mods Vol. 2

My “Don’t Do That” mods are quickly becoming some of the most popular on this site! So much so that I decided to start a second post and collection as the first was getting too big and cluttered. Keep those requests coming if there are more things that you want your Sims to stop doing! I’m always open to new requests. If you can think of more I should create and add here, please let me know or leave a comment on this post.

Features & Their Requirements:

Don't Make a Mess

Stops child and toddler Sims from doing the autonomous “Make a Mess” interaction without having to “encourage” them.

Parenthood

Don't Listen to Horses

Stops horses from autonomously trying to “talk” to your Sims which makes Sims stop whatever else they are doing.

Don't Hug Trash

Stops Sims with the “Recycle Disciple” Trait from doing the “hugging trash” animation when idle.

ECO LIFESTYLE

Don't Do Genius Animations

This stops Sims with the “Genius” Trait from doing their “fingers to their temples” idle animation.

Don't Receive Club Invites

Stops both stranger and friend Sims from calling up your Sim and asking them to join any social clubs.

Stops all Sims from autonomously kicking over trash cans or rummaging through them.

Don't Let Gremlins Break Everything Every Night

This mod alters the “Gremlins” Lot Challenge by Maxis so that they no longer attack your appliances, etc. every single night. Now it will happen only a 1/4th of the time and completely at random.

Stops Sims from stopping what they are doing to autonomously judge nearby decor themed objects.

Don't Clean Chicken Coops

Stops your Sims from autonomously cleaning any chicken coops.

Don't Evil Laugh

Stops Sims with the Evil Trait from randomly doing the evil/maniacal laugh.

Don't Slip in the Snow

Now Sims will no longer slip in the snow or during blizzards.

SEASONS

This expansion pack is all that is required.
Don't Do Mystical Idle Animation

Sims with the Mystical Trait will no longer randomly wave their arms in the air.

ENCHANTED BY NATURE

This expansion pack is all that is required.

Don't Run Away for Pets

This stops both cats and dogs from ever running away without having to give them a special trait. (A couple files in this mod overlap with my pet traits. That’s okay! You can still use this mod and the traits without problems!)

Don't Autonomously Light Fireplaces

Stops all Sims from autonomously lighting fireplaces no matter what the temperature is. You can still command your Sims to light the fireplaces.

Don't Autonomously Use Pizza Oven

This mod will stop Sims from autonomously using the Pizza Oven that came with the Home Chef Hustle SP.

HOME CHEF HUSTLE

Don't Do Pushups

This mod stops all Sims (including NPCs) from doing any pushups. Shouldn’t interfere with any Sims needing to do pushups for the game’s sake.

Don't Autonomously Use Grills

Stops Sims and NPCs from autonomously using outdoor grills to cook or brew remedies.

Stops Sims with Lovebug Trait from doing their “heart hands” idle animation.

Don't Do Romantically Reserved Animation

Stops Sims with the Romantically Reserved Trait from doing their weird idle animation.

Don't Bake Cakes

Stops all Sims from autonomously baking cakes by blocking them from getting ingredients from the fridge. Sims can still be directed to bake cakes by the player.

Stops Sims from slipping in mud and water puddles.

Don't Do Practice Makes Perfect Animation

Stops Sims with the “Practice Makes Perfect” trait from doing their idle animation where they look at and mark down in a book.

Don't Do Plant Lover Idle Animation

Sims with the Plant Lover Trait will no longer randomly hold up a plant.

ENCHANTED BY NATURE

This expansion pack is all that is required.

How to Use In-Game:

All mods will automatically apply once they are installed into your Mods folder. No other action is required. You do not need to install every mod package in the zip file. Install only the ones you want in your game.

How to Install:

Copy the package file into your “Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods” folder. That’s it! You may also want to make sure that mods are enabled in your Game Options menu.

Base Game is mainly all that is required. Other packs are optional and mentioned in the boxes above for each mod.

Thanks for your mods!! specially those which stop annoying idles!!! would you consider adding one that stops “plant lover” idle animation? it’s like the one when they hug a trash bag but they hug a plant now… it’s making me mad lol X_X
