Public Welfare Career
Is your Sim too busy raising multiple young children to work? Is there some other reason why your Sim is unable to work? Well, now your Sim can enter the Public Welfare system to help with those pesky bills. Be warned, the money isn’t much as it’s only intended to help you “get by” and not “get rich”, just like real welfare. This mod (only called a “career” because that’s the system I had to use to create this) will grant your Sim two checks per week depending on how many children they have or if they are just an individual. Make certain that your Sim is able to make it to their appointments pick up their checks! Two missed checks and you will be ejected from the system! Oh, and you can’t call in for time off from the appointments!
Features:
- Two chances per week (for one hour) to pick up the welfare check
- Sims will start on a check level depending on how many children they have
- The more children you have, the bigger the check but it is capped at the “three children or more” level
- Miss two appointments to pick up your check, and you will be removed from the welfare system
- If you leave the system and come back later, you will still enter the level you need depending on how many children you have
